Mixed Media: Bird

This is a mixed media work I created in about five seconds, using a found object, namely a blurry photo from an exhibition catalogue, and a poster pen. It is commentary on our dialectical tendency to anthropomorphize as we zoomorphize. I used yellow because the set-up, a woman by a window, reminded me of Vermeer (and also because of Big Bird out of Sesame Street). It is dated 30th April, 2012.
